Studio Momentum Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions will be applicable to all rentals and must be accepted upon booking.

Renter will be held responsible for the activities of those who attend their rental booking time, including any damages to the space and all activity by participants.

Studio Momentum agrees to provide entrance to the building, so Renter may occupy Studio Momentum at scheduled time. Renter agrees to not open building for unauthorized individuals nor prop the door to Studio Momentum.

Renter further agrees that after Renter's scheduled rental is complete, Renter and Renter's group will vacate the building in an orderly and prompt manner, and will not loiter inside the building or in the immediate vicinity thereof. Outside scheduled rental times, Renter is not allowed to occupy Studio Momentum.

Rental of the Studio Momentum does not include rental of the public areas of the building, neither for rehearsal use nor for a “waiting area” for auditions, line reading, etc. This does not apply to any lobby area within Studio Momentum itself.

For the duration of this agreement, the rental rate will be $12/hour, with a pro-rated rate of $3/quarter-hour. This rate may change after the term of this agreement at Studio Momentum's discretion, or prior to that time via mutual agreement of Studio Momentum and Renter.

BOOKING CANCELLATIONS/CHANGE OF SCHEDULE

Any cancellations or rescheduling of a rental require notice of no less than 48 hours. Should a booking be cancelled OR rescheduled with less notice than 48 hours, Renter shall not receive any credit or refund for the scheduled date. All bookings should be cancelled via email to info@theatremomentum.com.

All payments will be refunded manually within 2 business days.

EXTENSION OF BOOKING

Renter shall be responsible for booking any and all new or continued dates for rentals via Studio Momentum website, and no booking may be considered booked unless it has been processed through the website.

INDEMNITY

Renter agrees to hold harmless Studio Momentum and all its affiliated persons for any damage to person or property while Renter uses Studio Momentum. Studio Momentum agrees to hold harmless Renter for regular wear and tear to Studio Momentum. Renter agrees to report and pay for repairs for damages above and beyond regular wear and tear to Studio Momentum. "Regular wear and tear" is to be determined solely by Studio Momentum. Repairs are to be made by a professional contractor at Renter's expense.

Further, Studio Momentum assumes no responsibility for loss or theft of personal property left at Studio Momentum. Should any personal property be left at Studio Momentum, the retention of said property (e.g., a "lost and found" area) shall be as a courtesy, and is in no way guaranteed.

Studio Momentum is a non-smoking, alcohol-free environment. While at Studio Momentum, Renter agrees to not engage in drug, alcohol, or tobacco use, nor engage in any activity that may bring Studio Momentum to legal harm. Renter further agrees that any illicit activity that levies against Renter and their affiliates any fees, litigation, tickets, or prosecution of any kind will be the sole responsibility of Renter and their affiliates, and in no way involve Studio Momentum or its affiliates.

PARKING

Pay parking for Studio Momentum is available in the lot immediately adjacent to Studio Momentum. Studio Momentum does not service this lot and is not responsible for any use thereof.

VENDING

Studio Momentum does not include any vending machines for use by Renter or Renter's guests. Any outside food or beverage brought into the space must be disposed of in the supplied trash cans within Studio Momentum.

NOISE LEVELS

Since no space is 100% soundproof, Renter agrees to maintain a reasonable volume at all times, so as to not disturb people in other parts of the building. Renter further agrees to not hold live band rehearsals in the studio. Incidental music played at a reasonable volume, either on a keyboard, speakers, or other instrument with variable volume shall be considered permitted per this agreement. Any live instrument (e.g., guitar, drums, saxophone, etc.) shall be disallowed per this agreement.

VIOLATION

Any violation of this agreement, as deemed by Studio Momentum, may result in termination of said agreement. Should Renter terminate agreement prior to its expiration, Renter will be liable for rental fees for any scheduled rental within 5 business days of termination. Should Renter violate any of the terms of this agreement, Renter and all affiliated groups will be disallowed from renting from Studio Momentum in the future.
